ESSAY

For Pinto (1998 apud REBOUÇAS, 2010, p.4), "the essay is not a literary genre, but it is a genre of interval between the fictional and the non-fictional". The essay is not intended to be exhaustive or to worship sources by its authority. It goes against the standards of a systematic, universal, objective and neutral rationality. Therefore, according to Rebouças (2010, p.5), it surpasses the positivist methodology not in the "objectivity of the method that the essay expresses itself, but in the subjectivity of the discursive choices [...]." This does not mean that in the academic space, it will abandon technical standards, be careful with writing, concern with the corpus, make explicit its itinerary: the memorial of research and references. It should be added that it must have an original conclusion, but less in-depth and / or less than the scientific article,

EVALUATION PROCESS BY THE COUPLE

The paper is accepted for analysis, assuming: 1) it has not been published nor is it being submitted, simultaneously, for publication in another journal; 2) all persons listed as authors have approved their submission to REGMPE; 3) the opinions expressed by the authors are their exclusive responsibility; 4) the formal presentation of the work is in accordance with all indications of these editorial standards.

The works sent to REGMPE will be evaluated in two moments:

First, the assessment of compliance with the guidelines for authors. The article will be evaluated in its normalization (forms of citation, correct completion of metadata, verification of the quality of tables and figures and checking the removal of authorship identifications). If corrections are made, the author (s) will be requested, who will have a maximum period of 20 days to make the appropriate adjustments and forward them to the next evaluation, on the merits of the content.

Second, the assessment of the merit of the content. The article will be sent by the magazine's editor to the body of reviewers, who appreciates the text. The options for opinions are: a) Fully approved; b) Approved, provided the necessary corrections are made; c) Refused. In case of any divergence regarding the opinions, the editor will forward the article to the editorial board, which will decide whether to publish it or not.

The author (s) will be notified, by email, of the acceptance or refusal of their submissions.

The evaluation criteria include: originality, contribution to the knowledge of the area, methodological adequacy, clarity and timeliness. Accepted articles may undergo editorial revisions to facilitate their clarity and understanding, without changing their content. REGMPE reserves the right to make normative, orthographic and grammatical changes to the originals, with a view to maintaining the cultured standard of the language, while respecting the style of the author (s)

When substantial modifications are necessary, the author (s) will be notified by e-mail and in charge of making them. You must post the new version of the work in the System, within the period determined by it.
